These terms govern your use of UtilNest (utilnest.io): the website, its tools, accounts and paid plans. By using the site you agree to them. The service
UtilNest is a collection of converters, calculators and utilities. Most tools run entirely in your browser: your files and inputs are processed on your device and are not sent to us. Some features use our servers or Cloudflare's, such as the currency converter, document and ebook conversions, HD AI models and cloud AI tools, and are described on their pages and in the privacy policy.
Results are provided as is. We test every tool against documented methods and published sources, but calculators, conversions, transcriptions and AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete. Check results before relying on them for financial, legal, medical, tax or safety decisions; they are not professional advice.
Accounts
Accounts are optional and personal. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to consent to data processing where you live (13 in the US, 16 in parts of the EU, or with a parent's consent where the law allows).
Acceptable use
Don't use UtilNest to break the law or someone else's rights, to process content you have no right to process, to attack or overload the service, to get around limits (for example with many accounts or automated access outside the API), or to resell the service. We may suspend accounts or block traffic that does.
Plans, payment and taxes
Free use is paid for by advertising. Plus and Pro are monthly subscriptions; credit packs are one-time purchases. Prices are shown before you pay, including or excluding tax as required where you live.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage or cancel subscription) or the link in your receipt; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails, the plan stays active for 3 days while the payment is retried.
Credits are used by cloud AI features as shown before each use. Monthly credits expire at the end of the month; pack credits expire 12 months after purchase. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
Limits
Each plan has limits on uploads, document jobs, HD AI runs and results held, listed on the pricing page. We may change limits and prices; a price change for an active subscription takes effect from the next renewal after we tell you at least 30 days ahead, and you can cancel before it applies.
Developer API
Pro accounts can create API keys and call UtilNest from their own software, as described on the developer page. API calls are part of the Pro subscription: they use the same plan limits and AI credits as the site, are limited to 120 requests a minute per key, and stop working when the account leaves Pro. You are responsible for keeping your keys secret and for the calls made with them; revoke a key on the account page if it leaks.
Your content
You keep all rights to your files and inputs. When a feature processes them on our servers, you give us permission to do only what is needed to run that feature; results are deleted after the retention period of your plan (1 hour to 30 days) or earlier when you delete them. We don't use your files to train models.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep UtilNest available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove tools. If we discontinue a paid plan, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, UtilNest is provided without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract, including under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Brazil's Consumer Defence Code.
Ending
You can stop using UtilNest and delete your account at any time from the account page; your data is deleted within 24 hours, as the privacy policy describes. We may end these terms for an account that breaks them, with notice where reasonable.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of the comarca of Teresópolis, RJ, have jurisdiction. If you use UtilNest as a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live and can bring a claim in its courts where that law gives you the right.
