Organize PDF pages

Put a PDF's pages in a new order by typing it, for example 3, 1, 2. You can repeat a page or leave pages out, and the document never leaves your device.

Write the order you want

Scanned documents often come out of order, especially double-sided ones scanned as two stacks. Type the new page order and press Reorder pages:

  • 3, 1, 2 puts page 3 first, then 1, then 2.
  • Ranges work too: 5-8, 1-4 swaps two halves; 10-1 reverses a ten-page document.
  • A page can appear twice (1, 1, 2 duplicates page 1), and pages you don't list are left out.

The new PDF contains exactly the pages you typed, in that order. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and quality doesn't change. To turn sideways pages, use Rotate PDF.

Nothing is uploaded

Your browser rebuilds the PDF on your device, so there is no account and no limit.

How this works

The PDF is opened in a Web Worker with pdf-lib. Your order is read as a list of pages and ranges (a range written high-to-low runs backwards) and checked against the document. A new PDF is then built by copying each listed page, with its fonts and images, in exactly that order; nothing is redrawn or compressed again.

Frequently asked

How do I reverse all pages?

Type the last page, a hyphen and 1. For a 12-page file, 12-1 gives pages 12 down to 1.

What if I leave a page out of the list?

It isn't included in the new PDF. List every page you want to keep.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are reordered by your browser on this device.

Can I duplicate a page?

Yes. Write it twice, for example 1, 2, 2, 3.
