Just the pages you need

Long PDFs often hold one useful part: the payslip page of a bank statement, a chapter of a manual, the signature page of a contract. Type the pages you want and press Extract pages to get a new PDF with only those pages.

Write single pages and ranges separated by commas: 1-3, 7, 10- keeps pages 1 to 3, page 7 and page 10 to the end. Pages come out in the order you type them, so 5, 1 puts page 5 first. The original file isn't changed.

Need each range as a separate file instead? Use Split PDF. Want to drop a few pages and keep the rest? Delete pages does that.

Without uploading

Your browser builds the new PDF on your device. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged.

How this works

The PDF is opened in a Web Worker with pdf-lib. Your page list is checked against the document first, so a typo can't produce a wrong file. Then a new PDF is created and each listed page is copied into it with the fonts and images it uses, in the order of your list. Nothing is rasterised or re-compressed, and the original file is left untouched.

Frequently asked

How do I write the page list?

Commas between parts, a hyphen for ranges: 2, 4-6, 9- means page 2, pages 4 to 6, and page 9 to the end.

Can I change the order?

Yes. Pages come out in the order you type them; 3, 1, 2 puts page 3 first.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Pages are extracted by your browser on this device.

Does it change the original?

No. You get a new PDF; the original file stays as it was.
