Clean white, automatically
Online stores and marketplaces ask for product photos on a plain white background; many forms want profile or ID-style photos on white too. Choose your photos and the background is replaced with pure white (#FFFFFF), keeping the subject exactly where it was and at the photo's full resolution.
It works best with one clear subject: a product on a table, a person against a wall, a pet on the sofa. The result is a JPG, ready to upload. Up to five photos at a time, so a few product angles take one click.
Need a transparent PNG instead? Use Remove background. Another colour? Change background colour. A softer, portrait-style look? Blur background.
Private and free
The AI model runs in your browser, on your graphics card where available. The first time it is downloaded (about 88 MB) and kept by your browser; after that each photo takes a few seconds, there's no watermark, and the photos never leave your device.
How this works
Your photo is scaled to 1024 × 1024 pixels for an open-source segmentation model (ormbg, Apache-2.0), run by ONNX Runtime on your graphics card (WebGPU) or processor. It returns, for each pixel, how likely it is to be part of the subject. That map is enlarged to the photo's full size and used to place the subject over a pure white canvas, then saved as JPG at quality 92.
Frequently asked
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The AI runs in your browser on this device.
Is the white exactly white?
Yes, pure #FFFFFF, as marketplaces ask for.
Is the photo resized?
No. The result has the same size in pixels as your photo.
Can I use it for a passport photo?
This page only changes the background. Official photos also need a specific size and head position; a dedicated tool for that is coming.
