MOBI is Amazon's older e-book format, and most readers outside the Kindle family don't open it. Choose a MOBI file and get an EPUB with the same chapters, pictures, styles and table of contents, plus the title, author and cover, ready for Kobo, Apple Books, Google Play Books or Thorium. EPUB also works with Send to Kindle.
What converts best
Books without DRM: titles from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, Humble Bundle, independent authors and your own documents converted for Kindle. Your browser opens the MOBI file with foliate-js, an open-source e-book library, splits it into its chapters, collects the pictures and styles, and writes everything into a standard EPUB 3 with a table of contents. Nothing leaves your device.
